What is a Homecoming?
Coming home isn't about walking through a physical door—it's about reconnecting with parts of yourself that feel alive, present, and in harmony. It's about recognizing and cultivating your body's wisdom, your capacity for presence, and your natural sense of belonging.
At Homecoming Therapies, I walk alongside people finding their way toward these experiences. My role is to help you discover safety within yourself, build internal resources, and show up authentically in your body and relationships—whether you're working through trauma; exploring your sense of self; processing or preparing for birth, parenthood, or other significant life transitions; or wishing to increase connection in your partnerships.
This journey isn't about returning to some idealized, past version of yourself. Instead, it's about settling more deeply into who you are right now—grounded, supported, and able to move forward in ways that honor your unique needs and desires.

I am a queer and polyamorous somatic therapist, trainer, consultant, and parent located in Chicago, Illinois. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Chicago (2017) and am certified in Somatic Experiencing® (2022), with additional specialized training in attachment and working with chronic pain & illness that informs my body-centered therapeutic practice.
I specialize in the renegotiation of trauma stored in the body, with a focus on early attachment wounds, stress management, pre and perinatal mental health, and grief. I am passionate about supporting individuals and families by creating intentional and equitable spaces that honor diverse identities and experiences. As someone who navigates multiple identities, I bring both personal understanding and professional commitment to creating therapy spaces where all parts of you are welcome.
My journey to somatic therapy began through my own experiences with somaticized stress and chronic pain, which deepened my commitment to supporting others in reconnecting with their bodies and reclaiming their sense of agency.
As a mom to an infant and a stepparent to a teen, my experiences of pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum labyrinth, and blending families have deepened my commitment to helping caregivers navigate these transformative journeys. My practice also offers guidance and care tailored to the unique needs of gestational and expectant parents, empowering them to reconnect with their bodies, foster resilience, and nurture attuned relationships with their children.

My approach is warm, relational, and invested in honoring your whole self: your intersecting identities, physiology, emotions, thoughts, and relationships.
In our work together, we'll cultivate curiosity and play as we tune into your body in the present moment. Through movement and awareness of sensations, images, and impulses, we'll explore how your body responds and what it reveals. The goal is to help you reconnect with your deeper self—not just for self-awareness, but so you can engage in life the way you truly want, beyond the patterns your nervous system has developed to keep you safe from real or perceived threats.
Therapy with me is a collaborative process. I trust that you are the expert on your own experience, and together, we'll discover what feels most supportive for you. I bring my knowledge of somatics and nervous system patterns, while you bring your lived experience. Together, we'll co-create a space where you can experiment, notice, and move toward greater capacity: the ability to be with effort, joy, discomfort, and change without getting overwhelmed.
Ultimately, our work is about finding a deeper sense of belonging—both within yourself and in the world.

Therapy is a homecoming to yourself—not about fixing what's broken, about nurturing possibilities that exist within you to experience play, wonder, and a deep sense of belonging. At Homecoming PLLC, I believe in creating a space where you can meet yourself with curiosity, reconnect with your body’s wisdom, and explore new possibilities without force or expectation. Guided by transparency, care, and respect for your lived experience, our work together makes room for both the hard things and the joyful ones.
Inherent Worth – You don’t have to earn care, dignity, or connection—they are yours by nature. I hold space for you to show up as you are, knowing that you are already whole, even as you seek change.
Transparency – Therapy shouldn’t feel mysterious. I practice clear communication about our process, expectations, and relationship. This transparency builds trust and ensures a true collaboration.
Curiosity – Healing begins with curiosity—about yourself, your patterns, and what else might be possible. Together, we’ll approach your experiences with wonder rather than judgment, creating space for new understanding.
Embodiment – Your body holds wisdom, stories, and potential for joy. Through somatic therapy, we reconnected with these bodily resources – not just to manage distress, but to access play, aliveness, and that profound sense of belonging you’ve been seeking.
I invite you to begin this journey of homecoming. Together, we'll create space for both pain and joy, always honoring your inherent wisdom and worth.
